
A Dynamic Collaborator
Amy Bach is an American collaborative pianist who is known for the elegance and breadth of her playing. Her repertoire encompasses a diverse range of composers from Boulanger, Schumann, and Dohnanyi to Shostakovich and Muriel Herbert. A frequent collaborator for both song and chamber music, Amy has experience performing with all voice types and all orchestral instruments including vibraphone, horn, clarinet, and cello. In the UK she has performed in London, Devonshire, and Kent, and her international audiences have included France and Prague as well as across the United States.

As a collaborator, Amy works with a broad range of students at the Royal Academy of Music and, previously, at the University of Utah. She has played for the studios of cello, clarinet, and horn teachers and has always been sought after to accompany degree recitals and community performances. Awards for her collaborations include the ENKOR International Competition and the SummerArts Competition at the University of Utah.

Currently, Amy is pursuing a Master of Music degree in Ensemble Piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London studying with Anna Tilbrook and Andrew West. Upcoming concerts include an event featuring early works of Aaron Copland that explores how studying abroad impacts musicians, and a song recital considering the subject of home.
